It goes without saying that our straight allies are a vital passenger in our journey towards equality, acceptance and celebration, but sadly there is a small minority of people who demand to know vocally when their straight pride is. Here are just a few reasons why straight pride isn't really necessary: -Straight people are not attacked or murdered for being straight -Straight people can almost travel anywhere without having to worry about being straight-Straight people have always been able to marry-Straight people have never been sentenced to prison for being straight-Straight people are not called sinners for being straight-Straight people don't have to face heterophobia in work, out socialising or in their family unit-Straight people pop up everywhere in every culture
